Needle in a haystack find. I wonder what clues the killer left behind. He was following at least two of the women on social media. I bet he DM’ed them.

The car seems to be the breakthrough.

I’m surprised he didn’t try to dump the vehicle. Maybe he thought a white Elantra wouldn’t be tracked from Idaho to Pennsylvania.

Assuming he is guilty…..I wonder if these are his only killings.

So glad they caught this nutjob. Especially happy for the families of those involved and the wrongfully targeted individuals social media was sure were the killers. Namely and ex-boyfriend and a dude in a hoodie.

Also - I wish Houston weren't associated with the nutjob tarot card reader that called out a female UofI professor as being the mastermind behind the killings because the cards told her so..... c'mon peeps; do better

glad they caugh the guy and hope this brings some relief to the families.

Pure speculation on my part but this sounds like this guy was a serial killer at least in the making. It wouldn't suprise me if he is found to be associated with more crimes. It sounds like he's someone who was fascinated by crime and not only wanted to study it but indulge in it.

I read the guy was overweight and bullied up through his Junior year of high school. Then, he was thin as a rail when he started his Senior year. His former friends basically said he went from being bullied to becoming the bully. He was basically dropped by his friends for bullying them amid a change in his behavior. This guy being so into criminology and wanting to be a cop. I guess this ultimately festered into his crazy behavior where he wanted to experience commiting a crime probably to see if he could get away with it and to experience the feelings of what it is like. This guy oversaw a survey with ex-convicts asking them about how they felt while commiting their crimes along with their reasoning and efforts that went into the crime. It's like he was studying a criminal playbook and wanted to experience it for himself. I bet "Murder By Numbers" is probably his favorite film.
