    Mark me down has someone who also can’t recall seeing anyone mixing up dominant and dominate.

    We should play a game. The first person to find a legit new occurrence of such a mistake Wins. Maybe we can have two winners … one for who finds a new occurrence in the GARM, and another for anywhere else.

    It happens so much, I was talking to a friend about it saying it's got to be because people don't know how to spell dominant and auto-correct corrects it to dominate or something. Or maybe they just don't know how to spell it. A quick few searches :
