    I guess technically as long as Valdez goes 6 innings and doesn't allow any more runs he would still be correct. Let's see if Valdez can shut them down starting from the 3rd.

    *can he allow 1 more run since there was an error?

    1 run unearned so the QS definitely well in play.

    I always thought the QS was simply no more than 3 runs period. I just don't get giving a QS to a pitcher who gives up 7 runs of which only 3 are earned in 6 innings.

    Hell I'd settle for the June version of Yordan... hopefully he regains some of that heat going into the playoffs or this offense will be a problem

    They won't DH the backup catcher with the minuscule chance Maldy gets hurt. Mancini should DH but seems like a scheduled off-day for him.
