    We need to very JV his 16th win after failing him the last 2 times with the bats. Now he's reliant on the bullpen.

    JV needs to have a better record than his Cy Young contenders and would also help to win the whip title. Those lack of Ks (Is it really?) is keeping a couple of guys in the hunt (McClanahan and Cease).

    So if JV finishes 20-4, let's say, and has the lowest WHIP and 193 Ks, he's gonna get the award.
