Correct, i said my personal expectations. I didn’t think he had starting qb ability and he proved me wrong, so to me he overachieved

He had a decent career but I'll go with Sam Bowie, considering who was drafted immediately after him.

I'm more of a volleyball type than a basketball type but I always had a huge crush on TT.

Glad to see I wasn't the only person looking up pics of Liz Cambage yesterday.

If they actually make that on tap, any bar serving it has to be as good as it gets for people-watching.

Bennitt is a close 2nd to LaRue Martin a 7 ft C from Loyola of Chicago, who was the #1 overall pick in 1972 by the Blazer.

2 yrs later, the Bllazers made Bill Walton, a 6' 11" C from UCLA, as the #1 overall pick

You have to take into account who was drafted after them.

    Oden-Durant
    Bowie-Jordan
    Mandarich-Barry Sanders
    Nevin-Jeter

There's a million of these decisions. Some good...some bad.

    Blair Thomas, #2, NYJ....

Cortez Kennedy and Junior Seau went in the next 3 picks. Before Andre Ware (oops again), Richmond Webb went 9th

Emmitt Smith went 17th that draft.

Sort of my bar too. Anyone who doesn't play at a high level when drafted before a HOF player is a bust.

    Example, 1984 NBA draft:
    • Hakeem
    • Bowie
    • Jordan
    • Perkins
    • Barkley
    • Turpin
    • Robertson
    • Gordon
    • Thorpe
    • Wood
    • Willis
    • McCormick
    • Humphries
    • Cage
    • Stansbury
    • Stockton
Bold are HOF. Italicized had some All-Star level consistency through several seasons. The rest are busts, comparatively.

Len Bias, #2 overall pick. Died before ever playing a game from cocaine.
