    It has to be said that Pena is a serious downgrade from Correa defensively. 13 errors is bad and his arm is a noodle.

    Agreed but I honestly think his defense improves. I also think he’s going to be a decisively better hitter than Correa.

    Mariners up 8-3 in the 9th, about to win their 12th in a row, and reduce the lead in the west to 10 games.

    The post all-star stretch is going to be very important or this could become a divisional race again. This is what the Astros face right out of the All-Star break with ZERO days off in this stretch....

    2 vs Yankees (double header)
    3 @ Mariners
    3 @ Oakland
    4 vs Mariners
    3 vs Red Sox
    4 @ Guardians

    yeah I know. Siri makes 5 star catches look routine sometimes. It's so Siri to get a glove on a 0% catch.
