nobody’s asking KPJr to be Chris Paul or Steve Nash…he needs to be able to effectively run a team if he’s gonna be PG

In a playoff setting or when games actually matter and we’re not getting our ass beat on a nightly basis, is he gonna be the type to run good offense and deliver good possessions most of the time down the court or nah? I say no

he can pass a little bit, but he is not someone I want running the team in the future

 

The problem with that tweet is that KPJ is not 6'6+ and he's not an exceptional playmaker. He's a decent 6'4 SG playing the PG position. He's not switching onto big guys and locking them up or creating match-up problems for the opposing team when we're on offense.

Let's see what the kid can do next year. He had a good end to the season but let's not hype him up like he's Magic Johnson or something.
