This. Sure, Russ's mid season run was nice when we went to small ball. And he definitely wasn't 100% in the bubble. But you can tell that when teams have time to adjust and game plan against him, they just pack the paint and ignore his outside shot. I don't care if you're the most athletic player in the league...if you're 6'3'' and trying to finish in the paint against 1-2 athletic big men just sitting there waiting for you, it's not gonna work out so great.
