Random Houston Rocket Trade Ideas 2020-2021

Tempting but helping Lakers in any way makes me deathly nauseous man.

Just trade Oladipo to Magic for both AG and Bamba then call it a day.

Magic do not need more bigs. In fact, they need a vet PG.

And more scoring punch, like Dipo.

 

Would love to get him back on the cheap next season.

 

Matisse Thybulle's price is going up.

He and Simmons should already be Rockets.

Imagine those 2 in our HOUnds defense.



Rockets may still have chance to snag him considering 6ers still need more firepower on offense.

1st, Wood is clearly better than Bagley. Neither Bagley nor Haliburton will be playing at All Star level like Wood is right now, so that is 2 steps back for franchise.

2nd, no FA will ever sign with Rockets if we do Wood dirty like that.

And KJ is not ready to start at PF either.

Not a fan of Trade #3 at all. Any Denver trade that does not get MPJ or Bol Bol back is a wasted opportunity IMO.

That Denver FRP is going to be at bottom of the draft.

I think HOU will make a deal with ATL for one of their wings. I would put money on PJ to ATL.

 

Honestly. The Magic is wanting to go young next year, if you give them Dipo and two First?

 

The Magic have invested too much money in Aaron Gordon and Bamba to just give them to us for washed up Tucker
and Oladipo rentals of 2 months.

Totally agree with you. I know we (Rockets) didn’t just want to give up T Jones & D-Mo just like that.

Neither AG or Bamba are in Magic long term plans.

One but most likely both will be gone at trade deadline, I guarantee it.

Dipo can be seen as a rental for Magic playoff run OR an investment to pair with Vucevic and Isaac.

I know you disagree but one of us will be right.

 

Stone rather receive FRP than give them away but I do not have problem sending Magic the lousy FRP like Pistons and Bucks picks.

the benefits. You don’t give up first round draft picks which AG and Bamba were for rentals.

All for helping Harden get a ring lol but I'd rather have picks for PJ. Shamet and Claxton are not it.

 

I like KJ Martin (and liking him more and more) but Paul Reed (and Mamadu Diakite) was the player I wanted most in 2nd round of last draft.
