    I wanted Jimmy and we probably would have won a championship. Anyway, my last message. But the Texans trades Hopkins for a 2nd and a bag of chips as they lost leverage- granted that was Bill who was hotheaded and I don’t think Stone will actually do it. But don’t any of you understand markets? Or do you just play video games and are homers?

    No dumbass gm would give up harden for a 2nd round pick and chips. BoB was the dumbass who did that to Hopkins and guess what he got fired coupled with the teams performance.

    Maybe u should practice trade offers on video games to see how dumb your suggestion was

    JH stock is at an all time high. He was playing limited minutes and almost had triple double as he was playing off the ball in open space. His trade value is higher after the game than before it, IMO.

    December 2020 I said: aging star, dedication issues, teammates don't want to play with him, no GM should want that headache, more of the same with a 40 million dollar salary. Got absolutely torched for it.

    Here's what happened next.

    Brooklyn ignored everything I said. Gave up Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert, THREE unprotected firsts, and four pick swaps. A franchise-altering haul. The kind of package you give up for a guy who's going to bring you a ring and commit long-term.

    Harden gave them 14 months. Quit. Demanded out. Got shipped to Philly.

    Showed up to Philly out of shape. Had beef with the front office. Publicly torched Daryl Morey — his biggest advocate on planet earth — called him a liar on national television. Demanded out. Again.

    Landed in LA on a discount because his market had dried up. The same market I told y'all was thin back in 2020. He's now 36, on his fourth team since my post, and ringless. The Nets are STILL rebuilding from the crater that trade left behind. Those picks turned into draft capital that helped build what OKC is doing right now.

    So let's revisit.

    "Dedication issues" — Quit on three franchises.

    "Jimmy and others, CP, don't want to play with him" — Add KD, Kyrie, and Embiid to the list.

    "What GM really is gonna want that" — Sean Marks gave up the farm and is still paying for it. Morey bet his reputation on a second Harden marriage and got burned. Again.

    "More of the same" — That's exactly what every fan base after us got. The same movie with a different jersey.

    "Worst thread of 2020" — Nah. It was the most accurate thread of 2020. Y'all just weren't ready to hear it yet.

    I didn't crawl out of a hole. I just got here early.

    Here's what actually happened next.

    Harden watched one of the premier players sit out essentially an entire season due to his moral stances, and ruin the one chance they all had at a championship.

    Agreed to a lower contact than what he was worth based on promises that Morey never fulfilled, and actively went against.

    Elevated the team when his running mate was constantly out of the lineup and he was the only one who could be relied upon, and then catered to said running mate and the team got worse when that happened.

    I love how you wrote an essay on how you didn't create a horrid thread, but really you absolutely did and then doubled down with a hideous and horrendous take grasping at straws trying to pretend you didn't.

    Sometimes it's best to bite the bullet and accept you're an idiot.
