    i remember readign a draft preview of this guy on this site a billion years ago and beign really mad we didn't get him, but then we got EDDIE GRIFFIN so it didn't matter.

    Honestly I do not like names such as Hornacek or Diop next to a rookie coach.

    Maybe a top coach, those do not instill any confidence.

    Even a Jason Kidd is a more resounding name.

    Not sure why we wouldn't keep Brase. He's 6'6". Last I read about Gunning, he was writing a book for his non-profit or something.

    i'm actually quite pleased w/ the new coaching staff hires, especially given that tilbitch was never going to pay for big name assistants

    Diop played 11 seasons so he brings the cred. It's not every NBA player that can last that long with these stats:

    .467 FT%
    3.7 RBG
    0.4 ASG
    0.2 SPG
    2.0 PPG

    He also finished 14th in BPG one year.
