What song most surprised you to hear on a Commercial?

I heard a Death Grips song recently. Very interesting.

then again they played them on a west world season 3 episode also.

 

We only come out at night by the smashing pumpkins on an apple commercial.

 

....people still watch commercials?

I stream about 90% of what I watch without commercials, which is very little. Anything else, I go to the bathroom, get a drink, look at my phone or whatever during commercials.

 

Not a song but a person - this one was shocking to me. Evidently he used the money from this commercial to fund his next album.

 

This song was used for a belvita breakfast biscuit commercial.

The song is called "Care of Cell 44" and if you listen to the lyrics its about a couple planning to reunite after one of them gets out of prison.

 

Um, do you watch music instead of listening to it.

 

I loved that commercial when I first saw it. I was more surprised it would be Kroger coming out with something like that.

The only thing I can add to this off the top of my head is about when I found out how many really famous/hit jingles Barry Manilow wrote back in the day for commercials. Like McDonald's "You Deserve A Break Today", "I am Stuck on Band-Aid", and State Farm's "Like a Good Neighbor, State Farm is There" jingles were all written by him. He wrote a few others that I don't remember.
