Just finished episode 1. Pretty WTF show. It sorta feels like a deliberately delivered Stranger Things mixed with Devs. The first episode was somewhat slow...but the storyline was very 12 Monkeys-ish. Looking forward to catching more episodes. Like Devs, there's tons of beautiful camera-work along with a good soundtrack.
Amazing cinematography and music. Stories are connected but each one is different. It is slow and strange but I really enjoyed it. Definitely not everyone’s cup of tea.
Felt more like Dark meets Black Mirror than anything else to me. Made it through 4 episodes. Spoilers Spoiler The kid stealing the other kid's body was just too ****ed up for me. Seeing the other kid stuck in the robot was heartbeaking. Then the one where the Asian kids stop time. Just too sad. I had to take a break. I did the same thing with Black Mirror after the third episode. I don't like too many feels in my entertainment.
Make no mistake, it's a quality sci-fi show with a very euro feel. I liked it, I just don't like the feels too much. 'Murica.
I definitely enjoyed it, though I felt like it didn't finish on as high a note as I had hoped. But I really dig anthology type shows like this with some kind of through-line. Agree on the body swapping episode. That was tough, man.
The sad robot was good. Like the subtle interconnectivity. But not sure what it wants to do. Overall worth watching.
