Honestly, I don't understand resting healthy players at all at this point. Finding a flow and have had 5 months of season rest, so it just seems unnecessary. To be fair, b2b games seem unnecessary as well.
One b2b had to be done to maintain the 2 week time frame. And it was known from the get go that every team would have one
If I was the coach I'd go full strength tomorrow. Go for the W against the Spurs, try and help our own cause to get the longest active playoff streak. Use Wed to give Luc, Frazier, etc. to see what we have. But, go Rockets!
It looks like Jazz will end up as the 5th seed. It would be hilarious to see that franchise break once they get knocked out by us again 3 years in a row. Mitchell gonna leave and Jazz will end up supermaxing Gobert, lmao!
Shocked at and love the move to rest harden. spurs still have incentive to win and MDA will get to see what schemes the best coach in the nba throws at WB led units . spurs also play a weird lineup ive heads , also playing small so we will see . Like this as an opportunity to play more guys . Given harden and Gordon are out, Frazier might be forced into a bigger role . Maybe luc plays again If we use Maclemore as the other “guard” I really hope MDA doesn’t play 7 guys just because one of them is getting the night off the next game and we have James and Gordon .
Let's what R Nah, Jazz refuse to get knocked out by the Rockets again. They sat all their starters in the 2nd half having a 16 point and are losing now LMAO.
Well glad we are finally resting Harden. Seems like when you realize you have an Austin Rivers on your team, you can start to rest the superstars. I don't think Harden rests had Austin not made it look easy last night.
Theybwill probably have to chain James to his chair or hide his uniform. Dude lives to ball. Spurs by 20. MDA throws his fellow septuagenarian a playoff bone.
The Spurs are still in playoff contention and this game isn't a priority for us. I'd like to see us win and keep SA out of the playoffs, giving the Blazers or Phoenix a shot at the Lakers. But the only thing that matters is staying healthy, so I hope the third stringers get a good run.
