Hahaha. Capitalism in action! The Strip Club Way! I don't really see professional athletes dropping any $$$$$ there though. ;-)
I told you locking up guys for 3 months without sex wasn't gonna work. BTW, did the strippers wear mask?
Fine Him! A quarantine as well! If they don't take this seriously it might ruin everything they've worked so hard to accomplish.
Hearing that basically he stopped there to eat...and that he would have been quarantined regardless, given that he had left the bubble (per Tracy McGrady today.) Makes sense...how would going into any restaurant be any different? Maybe if he had just done drive through, not sure. Anyway, that puts a different perspective on it, if true.
The issue isn't that he got food from the place, but rather he was seen socializing with others up close and personal + not wearing a mask. Unless you've been living under a rock, just about everyone in the world at this point has a general understanding of how to limit the spread of COVID-19. Take into consideration the amount of cooperation, coordination, and planning it took to get the NBA season to resume, it's understandable why more than a handful of people are upset.
But would he have been put in quarantine regardless, simply because he left the facility? That was what McGrady was saying, and it sounds like it could be correct.
I'm not sure what the NBA takes into consideration regarding quarantine length, but if someone could enlighten me I'd be interested in hearing about it. We all know how Caboclo and Holmes were handed 8 day quarantines for stepping out of their rooms for food. If the NBA-mandated 10 day quarantine for LouWill is some sort of unofficial suspension, I'm okay with that.
