What Bill Barr just said in selectively going out there and targeting Antifa ONLY followed by Trump statement about sending the military should send chills down EVERYONES spines.

Do the demonstrators have suggestions for tangible changes that state/local/the federal government can effectuate? I understand protesting to end the Vietnam War - that can result in the military pulling out of vietnam I understand protesting to advocate for the ADA - that resulted in all types of accommodations for the disabled. I don’t really see what state/local/the federal government can do here to placate the aggrieved. Just seems like another thing that will blow over resulting in no tangible changes.
How the hell do you think I’m sticking up for Antifa? I’ve always said F$ck Antifa since Trump was elected and the right has made them into a useful tool to allow Trump to do what he wants to. I HATE Antifa. They need to go away because here in the US they will CREATE Fascism not prevent it. Only peaceful protesting that leads to organization to create political change matters in these cases. Destroying property and costing more tax payer dollars solves nothing. It just gives Trump the ability to reach deeper into the powers he craves.
People reported seeing some right wing groups there, as well. That's the problem. The problem is also that Washington wants to politicize everything nowadays. This includes both parties. The Republicans are in control, so they're going to control what comes out. It's a huge problem singling out one extremist group. You have multiple there. Also, it's a huge problem singling out Anitfa, when Trump once called an extreme right white supremacy group "great people." Very troubling. It all starts in Washington. Drain the entire place.
