Lol I’m thinking he has 2 years left. Most of the contracts will be easy to get out of in 2 years for the new regime to clean house and there’s a full set of draft picks available as of now for 2022.
CBS said they are opting for digital crowds and crowd noise during broadcasts this year, but for the Texans, they are going with a laugh track.
FIFY. Cal/BOB have really mortgaged the future of the organization. It's SB or bust at this point. It's going to be an ugly mid to late decade for the Texans.
this was pretty sad to sift through. I love optimism and fanaticism as much as the next guy, but a system of insulating OBrien had developed that was not genuine and contrived - that you had to support him "just because". Looking at the SOS on paper it should have been reason enough to worry. Adding to that a new offensive coordinator/defensive coordinator and retool of the receiving corp and a slow start was almost already being postulated and excused prior to game 1! It was refreshing to see the change early and not allow this season to fester. It wont be a good year. Best case scenario 5-11 maybe 6-10. Most painful aspect is watching the Miami Dolphins become a super team at our expense. That sucks big time.
update: through the first 7 weeks, the texans covered once against the Jags. not only are they bad in reality, they've been even worse in betting
The Texans schedule, when said and done, will be BY FAR the toughest schedule a Houston Texans team has ever had. One of the toughest schedules in the last 30 years.
