Difference between a lot of ordinary/mediocre WRs and great WRs is that great WRs can catch non-accurate passes. A lot of those were catchable. QBs are not going to throw perfect passes, sometimes they will be low, behind, or high, just how it is with all that's going on...a guy like Hopkins snatches anything thrown his way...a guy like Cobb doesn't. Which means Watson has to be a lot better with his passes and makes Watson's job harder.
Still glad I’m not a Cowgirls fan.Id prefer GreenBay version over this current. But we shall see... Texans make it tough tho.
Well, I’m glad the Texans are relying on Cobb to be the #1 WR then! However, he will be just fine in the slot.
We’re paying him 28 million... I like Cobb, he can add stuff to our offense at the slot (possibly a lot if he stays healthy)...but 28 freaking million
You are paying $18.75 million guaranteed...basically $9 million a year. Brandon Cooks is the #1, Fuller is #2.
Cooks, Fuller, or Cobb, neither are really #1s. Maybe they can get it done together with the right playcalling and their speed, but I don't think either of these guys are true #1 WRs. I hope I'm wrong, I really do, and I have no issue at all owning up to it if I am.
True. But they have a washed up RB, have a mediocre Oline, mediocre TEs...so yeah... All they have on offense now is Watson. Fuller could, IMO be a star WR if he can play an actual full season, but I wouldn't count on that. Can't blame people for being pessimistic about this team.
That' Oline will be one of the best....next season, barring health of course. They have more than Watson. Hopkins was not the only weapon on that offense.
