Watson is going into year 4. Texans have control this year and they will exercise his 5th years option this summer. So that is 2 years. They can franchise him 2 years that are not punitive. So that is 4 years. Actually, it could be five, but it becomes really expensive. So, it is in Watson's best interest to take the FAT contract he will get offered.
