There was one play in the third when Westbrook was boxing the hell out of Gobert--I think he backed him out of the paint entirely. I've been seeing that more and more. Helping somebody on your team get the defensive board, even when you don't get the stat...that's winning basketball. That entire second half was just awesome to watch. 8 on 5 wins are even more satisfying.
I saw too many times when guys would not even bother to box out and a man would whizz by them to steal a rebound. They were expecting Clint to clean the glass. Very frustrating to watch
Harden and Russ are such a Dynamic Duo that they are like a Tsunami compared to the little Golden Boy bench sitters who call themselves Splash Brothers. I'd fear a Tsunami over a little splash any day.
