It's true. It really is true. I know people will say "Yeah, but we never stopped them before!" but a 28-0 lead makes a huge difference and just the fact of getting that big 4th would have made them heart broken.

The chiefs were the better team top to bottom. We have some holes to fill before we are as complete of a football team as they are. But even if we were a little stronger than them defensively our defense cant contain a high octane offense like that without some upgrades. Good season though we will be back. Its a learning curve to winning we are getting there

There was a moment in the 4th quarter when it was 4th and 4 and O'brien was calling for the punt, that the camera focused on him and it was amazing to see in real time how lost he was. Wasted a timeout to boot.

It's not that 24-0 should have been enough, it's the mentality of the thing. It's the idea of "Yeah, you thought you had us stopped but you can't stop us. We're going for it on 4th and we're scoring another TD." The momentum was lost at that point and then doubly loss after the fake punt.
