no one’s disputing that, but thanks so much for checking in. People who are not President could not be impeached while President, so you could have saved yourself the trouble, I guess.
That guy still works? I remember him mostly as a slate in house concern troll during the Bush years. The kind of guy that a then middle aged @Os Trigonum would really get off on reposting. Hadn't heard from him in years but that kind of trajectory is hardly surprising.
And wingnut (and trump defender) blogger gets caught in a lie, trying to connect Schiff to the phone records...
wait . . . I'm missing something. Is something Nunes did "the biggest political scandal in the history of the US" or does "this" refer to something else? which I'm also missing. serious question.
It's a shame that dedicated training, deep study, and thoughtful analysis are now perceived as partisan in some quarters, but there we are.
don't you think that's kind of a funny headline? compared with something like "Experts to testify" or "Legal scholars to testify"?
Why not? You've been sold on everything the WSJ editorial board has said. The legal scholars probably outweigh them. Or you could just look at the evidence. It's damning.
Many independent minds still value professionals and experts. While more will value short clips news hits. So you, unfortunately, are right here --> Fox hits >>>> anything and everything. While Professionals and Experts on both sides will likely be called upon, the GOP will aim to get those short clips for their audience and general population consumption of propaganda from Trump, and Russia as a bonus. Nadler is much less likely to keep this in check vs the great job that Schiff did.
It's 'tribalism'; the trend of a less 'white male' America is really scary for white males. The propensity for circling the wagons has been exploited by the 1%, FAUX and Brietbart for their own economic reasons i.e. tax cuts, regulation pull backs, sell-able demographics etc. And don't forget the foreign influence aspect; just sewing domestic conflict distracts us and weakens our opposition to them. The 'editor' as arbitrator of truth has been bypassed by unregulated speech so that propaganda and lies can have the same impact as truth. People have always been manipulated by information when you think about it, religion, national identification, war etc. etc. The US was blessed to go through a period of some 70 years of ethical press really.
I do think it's a funny headline, because it's so vague. I like to picture Chemists and Postmodernists coming to testify.
