The review system is so absolutely pointless. The refs just decide what they want no matter what even if it's for the world to see.
Terrible loss. Should have closed them out in the 4th. This team just doesn’t seem like a real contender to me. We might win 50 games but will not challenge the elites of the league in the playoffs. Harden’s 30 years old. I don’t know how much longer our “window” will last.
Teams went under the screen on him consistently with Adams and it was still lethal because Westbrook was still great at being able to probe and exploit space by shielding with Adams.
I've tried to give Russ the benefit of the doubt, but all the net postives he brings DO NOT outweigh the net negatives. He is a horrible shooter, isn't always a great passer, 80% time he is out of control, missing layups is unforgivable, bad turnovers like the terrible pass to James that was stolen by Walker and allowed them to tie the game in regulation... Makes really bad decisions at critical times, is about as anti-clutch as it gets. I'd have not problem is we could dump his ass for picks and some decent players that aren't stars any day now ! It won't happen but this team is NOT winning a championship with Russ as one of it's stars, because he isn't a star imo !
Strangely enough, he's not limited, he just limits himself. The man can get open midrange J's and hit post shots easily.
Huh? You seriously think those calls against Harden are legit Offensive fouls? Really don't know what to say about that. They have clearly been targeting him for BS calls they don't call on anyone else. It's not going to stop if you shut up about it and take it because I 100% guarantee other teams are telling the NBA "Harden is getting away with too much!" There are some games Harden can barely get a foul called and we should just say nothing about it? Nah. The team should be filing complaints. Keep em honest.
I'll ask you too. I've been taking a singular poll as this comes up. You bring this up regularly. You want to see MDA gone and replaced. He has the 2nd best record in the NBA over the past 3 seasons (only behind the formerly STACKED Warriors) 2nd best record over 3 seasons doesn't sound like a 'bad' coach, does it? So, who is YOUR ideal replacement? I'd love to hear what your solution is
Even if he did it would be too late for Harden to see i bet and after he passes it to him he wouldve hit demar and still be a offensive foul.
FU NBA for not calling a foul when Clemons was hit on the oop dunk. FU NBA for allowing all the flopping from the Spurs. FU NBA for not calling Demar on the push off. FU NBA for disallowing harden’s dunk. That would have prevented the BS double OT debacle. FU NBA for making that a ‘non reviewable’ call. Too bad Harden went too high/too hard on his bank shot/layup to close 1st ot. Pissed me off to lose and in the way we lost. The turnovers and lack of closing out on Walker’s 3 pt shots in regulation didn’t help. We let up and gifted this to the shitty Spurs. I did like Capela’s ft shooting and rebounding Rivers and Mclemore’s shooting
James Harden save his ass season after season, with his ISO play. Any coach knows adjustments is better than MDA, because we have James Harden.
This is why we need House and Gordon out there. When those 2 are out there, it opens up so much space.... and they can hit the 3pt shot quite consistently most of the time. With Westbrook out there, the other team will just let him shoot the 3pt shot most of the time because they know he's probably going to miss a lot of his shots.... even from the mid-range. He's actually quite easy to guard, because they know majority of the time he's going to the lane.
Yeah he used to do this but MDA and Morey seem to have eliminated that part of his game, so frustrating
