OP, I do like the football takes u have, but this one on basketball was pretty awful tbh. Harden could have went for eternal greatness by going past 81/ big 100, but he didn't. He probably didn't want to push his limits and get injured for trying to do it = man is thinking about the long run/playoffs. He just did what he thought was enough for him to b given rest for a WHOLE QUARTER (that's fking huge). Keep in mind that every wins count, Harden doesn't have the luxury to sit out as Lebron and Giannis who are higher up in win count and w/ healthier players. Honestly I kinda wish he went for eternal greatness but I am just glad we have this man on our team and we got the dub w/ Harden doing what he does best.
We were up by 58 at one point in the 3rd. IMO, no reason we should have kept Harden in after the first 4 minutes in the 3rd. But even more upsetting, was the 34 year old THICC man who's integral to our team playing 29 minutes and even playing in THE 4TH QUARTER... smh, play Clark 40 mins for all I care PJ getting more than 20 minutes in a game where we go up by 60 is just dumb.
No matter what he does, people will find fault in his game so just make the numbers undeniable. Hell, he should have gone for 82 tonight.
The media die is cast on Harden. Neither Harden nor any Rockets fan should give a damn about what anyone thinks about how many points he scores or whatever the hell.
Kobe: 81 points, 28-of-46 shooting, 18 of 20 free throws, six rebounds, two assists, three steals, three turnovers Kobe's 81 point game by quarter: 14, 12, 27, 28 ————— Harden: 60 points on 16-24 FG, 8-12 3P, 8 assists, 3 steals... in just 3 quarters!
It's like you are just clueless, spew babble...trying to act like you have insight.....which you don't.
i think tonite's performances definitely swayed boris durke's vote in giannis' favor over wilt harden
