How dare yall talk mess about yiddle. No one knows anything about yoda's race so maybe they just have a natural understanding of the force. Could be part of the reason why the baddies are looking for it. Spoiler Also was wondering why they named that one Mandalorian "Heavy Infantry" when he first showed up in the armorer scene...then he shows up later with a gatling laser gun...oh okay I see now.
Enjoying it but definitely have some annoyances. The tracker thing is nuts to me and will bother me the entire series if they keep it up.
Yeah that's still confusing to me as well. What bugged me about the trackers this episode was Spoiler Did someone reactivate all the trackers when he took yiddle/baby yoda...and wouldn' all the trackers have been beeping the first time he brought yiddle to that town and before he delivered him to the baddies. Seems like a plot device that wasn't really thought out or I'm really hoping they explain how it works.
They pointed out that Carl Weathers gave out the bounty to a large number of hunters, and that there was considerable dislike on Mando for being the one to bring the bounty in. I figured that once he went back for him then someone reactivated the bounty and the word got out really quickly to all of the jealous bounty hunters as to where the bounty was located.
As I read posts on Reddit that this show could be a video game, I'd just camp at that town and wait for Mando to land and try to loot his capture. The tracker would technically still be active until he finally delivered the bounty so just camp Mando out.
I don't want to bog down on this but... 1) Who turned it on? Seems like Carl Weathers controls them but he didn't turn them on. He was upset to see it turn back on. 2) Again, how is there a tracking device on the little Yoda? Do all living beings have tracking chips put in by God that they've learned how to hunt down with technology? It's really weird.
At the beginning of Ep3, a Carl Withers hologram message indicates that Mando has already informed them of his capture. I have no explanation of how they work, but, fwiw, the second incident doesn't compound the confusion, really, imo. The second time was after L Yoda was already in the lab. Independent of how the FOB worked in Ep1, in Ep3, a new signal could have been placed on the quarry, which still supports all the FOBs. anyhoot: who knows, but I just wanted to point out that the two uses of the FOBs could be from different transponder-ish devices, due to Yoda being captured twice, with plenty of time to put something on "him", independently, both times ... once pre-Mando capture, and once in the Dr's lab.
