MY GOD this is the stupidest quarter.

I’m guessing playing defense isn’t it

 

I get the frustration with the lack of defense (at there have been some bad rotations as usual). But I've seen at least 7 good/well contested 3's go in.

 

This seems to happen to the Rockets a lot.

 

One bright spot is that Brooklyn's dance team has to be one of the hottest in the NBA

 

Wrong. They've all been open. You have to do more than stick a hand up while they're shooting to play perimeter defense. The rockets should be RIGHT ON THEM so it's IMPOSSIBLE for them to shoot. Then capela should be sitting back in the lane so they can't get a layup. That's how you force them into a awkard midrange shot.

It happens to all 'Antoni coached teams. Phoenix, LA, NYK and now Houston. Mike is consistent.

 

I just can’t stand the way this team plays. The team is disinterested on defense and Westbrook just wants his damn numbers.

Dantoni is pure dog feces as an in game coach and as a motivator.

 

The way we defend helps make that happen more often. But yeah, agree they have hit some really contested threes.

 

What he hell was EG working on this summer, besides getting paid? He has been awful every game. Come on, man.

That's a rebound if a center is in the game and then you take the 3 away from them.

 

That's going to be a recurring theme here.we can contest all day but lack of height makes it much easier to make regardless of hands up

 

2 for 21 from the 3 pointer from your main 3 guys is going to give you a loss every single time. Yeah, I know the Nets are shooting lights out, but we're making it easy for them. We need to change our gameplan if we can't hit the 3pt shot. If we played some decent defense, we would have blew every single team out this season. But no, we're struggling to win any games.

I said this against the Bucks. We're such an average side to play against if the 3pt shot isn't dropping. MDA should have went in the summer.... and we should have got a good defensive coach in.
