Nats fans have a pretty good turn out at our stadium.

Another chapter added to Houston Sports crapdom.

I don't mind failures if there's enough success to coincide.

    Still waiting for proper coincide'ing.

    Waiting for 30 years.....

    Because we're good.

    It's a compliment, don't worry about it.

IF this were the Stros v Dodgers you'd see equal hate for both teams, the Nationals were a wildcard team, ultimate underdog, etc etc, everyone was going to root for them.

The Astros are a dominant force in the MLB, will continue to be for the foreseeable future, so we will get a lot of hate.

No one ever hates on irrelevant bottom of the barrel teams.

Ideally sure. But normally, World Series runs involving guys becoming legends who lift up the team when no one expected like CFM in 2017 or basically Kendrick this year for the Nats.

The point is that you have to get to the playoff bracket, hope you get a decent "draw" match-up-wize, and playing at least close to your best ball.

Chirinos’ failure to lay down the sacrifice bunt with runners on first and second and nobody out in the second inning was a killer. If he executes, you have two runners in scoring position with one out and likely get at least one more run. The Astros’ hitters let the Nationals hang around in every home game. And eventually the pitching staff was human.

That’s brutal. GS stopping us every year has been painful.

At least the Astros won it in 2017 and got back again this year. That’s 3 World Series appearances since 2005.

If I could trade the Astros success for the Rockets I would in a heartbeat! Lol

I'm not saying they will win 107 games. But they don't have to in order to make the playoffs. Plus once they do, you never know.

I have strange feeling the Astros weren't as hungry as 2017. Maybe we should let some of the 2017 players go and bring in some hungry players who will hit with men on base.
