My guess is that the calls about Leveon Bell, if they really happened, came before the recent injuries and subsequent trade.
I dont understand the interest in Bell. We couldve signed him in the offseason for just money, now theyre thinking about trading away more assets on top of paying him his money?
No, I doubt it. Pretty sure they're seeing if it's a buy-low opportunity. Also, we don't know the exact timeline of when we showed interest. It could have been before this rash of injuries, and the Conley trade. These reports should always be taken with a grain of salt.
Don’t buy into the Bell interest. He’s not coming here, and I highly doubt he even gets traded. We are actually set pretty well on the oline as far as starters are concerned. We don’t need Trent Williams as we have Tunsil who’s been really good. Tytus has been really good too. The problem is we do not have depth behind our starters so one injury is bad, two is devastating. If we could get more depth I’d be all for it but health is the biggest thing with the line right now. As to the other CB we sadly don’t have the resources to upgrade there anymore. Prob the one position we need the most, but we don’t have the capital to make anything happen at this point.
Doesn't matter Brian. Our OL is working hard getting better every day Brian. Excited to see what Mike can do with them Brian. Eagles signed RG Brandon Brooks to a four-year, $54.2 million extension through 2024. Brooks will get $30 million guaranteed. Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland said Brooks has improved at "everything" since he got to Philadelphia, and added the guard is "having the best season of his life." Brooks has started 55 of a potential 57 games since joining the Eagles in 2016. He's PFF's No. 1 rated guard this season.
