This is the best takeaway from this game for me, I guess -- we have a true 2nd superstar that can turn it on and get to that superstart level when Bizarro Harden shows up. We were lucky Westbrook's FG and FT shooting were on tonight, though. I also like the acceleration in the offense when Westbrook decides it's "his turn". We'll see -- it's still early in the season.

 

Westi takes a backseat to no one. He sensed Harden didn’t have it against the Bucks and last night and went into beast mode. This guy is balling like it’s the 2017 season all over again. You can tell he wants to let his doubters and this pairings doubters have it in spades.

The dude is averaging 27 pts 13 boards 10 assists so far this season. Granted it’s game 2 but this is MVP level brodie

 

Also it’s hard not to notice aside from WB lowkey/highkey being the teams natural leader we hoped CP3 would be for this team it also seems the team is more enthusiastic playing w WB controlling the ball...and honestly this is a pleasant surprise I saw as the best case scenario but I didn’t expect to see at the very least not this early.

 

The chemistry and respect between Russell and James is evident, got us looking like the Houston Thunder out there, just need a KD lol
