I thought it was pointless and not needy and basically a money grab. In the sense that it in no way improves the story we were previously left with.
@JayZ750 it kinda sorta did, basically everyone keeps asking what happened to Jesse and now we know....
But that’s how lots of stories go. Not every part of stories are “concluded”. This was one part of the Breaking Bad story better left unconcluded. Frankly it didn’t just not make it better, imo it made it worse cause now his story is no longer open ended.
@JayZ750 good point, however I will say that all along what everyone said was that Jessie must have went to Alaska... or they HOPED that he would. So this in a way confirmed and gave us all the happy ending we wanted for Jessie
Diehard BB fan here, and I didn't like it. It tried hard to capture the magic from 5 years ago, but it failed. Walter's cameo was weird and out of place, and his fake bald head was very distracting.
I liked the way BB ended with him driving away. I didn't mind this add-on, but definitely wasn't something I needed.
I liked it. But, I actually only recently watched breaking bad (I only got netflix like 8 montrhs ago), so everything was pretty fresh for me.
El Camino was a blatant money grab that I didn't really enjoy at all. Super predictable. They should have just left it the way it is.
So Vince Gilligan got paid zero to make this movie? He made the movie to get paid. That's why its a money grab. Think about it.
Why does it make you upset that someone else got paid so you could get an hour and a half of entertainment that you paid nothing for?
