You can't become super athletic who jumps off 2 meters from the ground but everyone can learn fundamentals. Develop the youth system. I don't want to hear it's not analogised and it's not possible because it is. Here is a good job for your generation. Make good sports league in CHINA. Don't just look and be interested at foreigners far away but look within.
I have actually read many details about how the youth basketball program work in china and I as a basketball fan have many worries and disagreements. I don't think he has been doing a good job. TLDR ; You will never be able to find a foreign league and place that conforms to 100% of your culture and accepts you. If you want something make it on your own. Isn't China a superpower? Don't you have pride? Why just give up and think you can't compete and become great? Start working on it and do a better job.

Byzantine -Eastern Roman Empire. During the Classical times the whole concept of nation was very little developed. They just did the Olympics game together, had the same religion and spent the rest of the time trying to kill each other. However, we are people who enjoy freedom democracy peace and great quality of life now. Nothing is perfect and there are a lot of issues to work on, but I wouldn't change it for any other time in the past. I am the only child of my family in 500 years that has never seen a war.
