No advantage over anything and soon being overtaken by SZ GDP wise (maybe already). What a shame. Many still carry that disdain over mainland thinking they are superior.

Found where the congress clearly said ... yet?

Look I love Morey as the GM. But would he tweet about Tilman's family business like that? What the freak was he thinking?

Then send off the coaches to learn. Have compulsary seminars.
Every coach and sports education teacher in schools should be educated and reeducated.
(The craddle of basketball in europe isn't spain and italy btw, it is the poor ex soviet and slavic countries. They had war and were poor but still develop basketball.)

You can't become super athletic who jumps off 2 meters from the ground but everyone can learn fundamentals.
    Develop the youth system.

I don't want to hear it's not analogised and it's not possible because it is.
Here is a good job for your generation. Make good sports league in CHINA. Don't just look and be interested at foreigners far away but look within.

I have actually read many details about how the youth basketball program work in china and I as a basketball fan have many worries and disagreements.
I don't think he has been doing a good job.

TLDR ; You will never be able to find a foreign league and place that conforms to 100% of your culture and accepts you. If you want something make it on your own.
Isn't China a superpower? Don't you have pride?
Why just give up and think you can't compete and become great?
Start working on it and do a better job.

No. :( But I am a big fan of chinese culture. I read on chinese culture and history and watch c-dramas and wuxia novels. =)

Don't make the mistake to think that because someone is against the CCP is against china and doesn't like your country.
The Chinese were there before and will be after the ccp.

I really wish for the best for all chinese.
And as a basketball fan, I also wish that you develop a good league of your own.

The thing is I wish what you said is true. It is again very easy said than done.

70 years, that is all 2-3 modern generations now. And more.

You are going way back to the feudal system and monarchy, China was a Nationalist Republic before that. That is all they know.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_China_(1912–1949)
Tons of them Nationalists were in bed with the Japanese Overlords, sold their country too.

Also the Nationalists can't even govern Taiwan now as they have been questioned/out of the picture. (Tsai president)

Anyway, thanks for your wishes though.

    That's what I thought all along. :D
I actually start to like you.
The basketball league there has ways to go. Not a generation time thing.
    Progress, brother ...

And yes you were right, the Nationalists did do business with Nazi Germany. (also it was the predecessor Weimar Republic)

You are as an ancient nation as mine. I have no fear that your identity as a peoples and nations is very safe, stable and independent of only a 70 years young party and ideology.

What are 70 years? A speck in the dust.

Education is what will move people forward.
I am not here from the outside looking in,to answer what it means to be Chinese, that's for you.
But what I know damn well is that being chinese doesn't mean the CCP.
    You are better than that.

    Good luck!

    Thanks.

Greece never recovered that well, I do think their Golden Age was during the Classical age.

    To this day.

Maybe China is destined to just invent gun powder, paper, porcelain.......

We all hope the next generation and beyond will have more of everything.

    Byzantine -Eastern Roman Empire.
During the Classical times the whole concept of nation was very little developed.
They just did the Olympics game together, had the same religion and spent the rest of the time trying to kill each other.

However, we are people who enjoy freedom democracy peace and great quality of life now. Nothing is perfect and there are a lot of issues to work on, but I wouldn't change it for any other time in the past.

I am the only child of my family in 500 years that has never seen a war. Progress!

anyway gtg, I hope I brought some new food for thought for the chinese posters here.

You can't change the mindset and culture of others? That's fine.
    Foreigners can't understand you?

Then try to not need others. Become a great sports nation of your own, because you can.
