[Official] Astros Vs. Rays ALDS

The absolute best team has a 25-30% chance of winning the World Series. I never got that over confidence either. Part of the reason I put money on the Nationals when I got 20-1 odds.

 

It’s not over if the god damn offense shows up.

 

C'mon offense! We've seen all of the pitchers they're going to put out there. I gotta believe we can get hits off of these guys..

 

The Rays pitching staff has this line up figured out. This team hasn't anywhere close to rally this entire series.

 

Since moving to the AL the Astros have only scored more than 3 runs in that dump a handful of times.

 

Let's see if Houston got the memo that the game is over at 3-0 in the 1st.

 

My understanding is he never started on such short rest

He's throwing faster than he did in the first game, and his location is completely off. I wanted to believe. *sigh*

Lot of innings left in this series, but I don't think he goes out there today if the bats hadn't **** the bed in the previous three games. They felt they needed someone that could shut down the Tampa offense because they couldn't out hit it.

I'm glad I have this game muted.

 

If the Astros didn’t start Verlander today, you would have Cole and Verlander on full rest in game 5. It was a gamble that didn’t work out as hoped, but it was a still a better option than starting Jose Urquidy in game 4 and having Cole or Verlander in relief in game 5. Make the Rays beat Greinke, Verlander and Cole in three straight games to win the series. If they do that, they deserve the right to advance. Also, Urquidy could have easily come out and pitched like crap, too.

 

Ump is kind of all over the place

I trust JV on 3 days rest over a rookie in his first playoff game start, all day, everyday.
