It's because he's injured. If CC is right, he's in his usual spot.

That said, since we do have the aforementioned murderer's row, it makes it a lot more palatable playing him when he's not right. We do get the fantastic D that he flashed earlier.

Maldonado with one of the worst AB’s I’ve ever seen.

Only one pitch was a strike.

After throwing two balls head high, you decide to predetermine a swing when you should realistically take in that scenario. That was a gifted walk that Maldanaldo wanted no part of.

Booth was right...Snell had him perfectly geared up for a 3-2 changeup. Altuve would have been a mile ahead of it.

We need a professional hitter to come through here.

Brantley and Tucker can’t come through when you need it most right there.

A rare Bad AB from Brantley there.

It amazes me how professional players don’t see the ball lass there right away ! Brantley would have been safe if he would have ran right away

I don’t know if I’ve ever heard a more biased set of announcers in my life ! My girlfriend even asked if these were the rays announcers !

Was just explaining that Brantley is a professional hitter and he rarely strikes out. My bad y’all.
