Yep. Here's a fun resource that will prevent all of us from having to repeatedly do math: https://www.playoffmagic.com/mlb/ We did not play the Dodgers this year, here are the criteria for WS home field (again): 1. Better record 2. Head to head record 3. Division record (we are 49-18, LAD is 43-24, each have 9 division games left) 4. League record (we went 11-9 in interleague, they went 10-10) Long story short: 8 for the Yankees, 6 for the Dodgers, 2 for the As
Agreed. He could have been our version of Charlie Morton in the pen as he's pitched like an Ace this year. Even Yankee fans are freaking out hard.
You have to give them a break sometimes. Baseball can be quite boring sometimes. You're going to lose focus on occasion.
The Yankees/Twins will be in prime time. Astros will be starting their ALDS games anywhere from 12-3.
We looking good 6 more times with the angels and 2 more with the mariners. We only can afford one lost right now and im keeping close attention to ny game also. We ll have home field for rest of the playoffs.
Astros are up 2 in the loss column and they own the tiebreaker over the Yankees and Dodgers. If the Astros lost 3 games then Yankees/Dodgers would have to go undefeated the rest of the way to pass them.
You know I'm nervous whomever they end up playing. The A's look great and probably worry me the most. Cleveland has arms but lack offense. Houston struggles with TB. It's going to be a tough first round imo.
