RIP. I didn't realize he missed out on the "big money". I guess that is why it seemed he was constantly touring since the 80s. I was recently watching footage from the US festival back in the early 80s and there he was performing. Even though I wasn't really a fan, you couldn't escape the mark he made on music. He and his songs were always popping up throughout the years. It's like you couldn't get away from him. He definitely should be in the RRHOF if he isn't already. He made his mark.

    Wow. RIP.

I saw a trailer for his reality show last night and it was implying he was sick and going to the hospital. But with these reality shows, they always make it seem worse that it really is. I guess not......

Not many people know that he played the sax. Any sax solo you hear on any of his songs is him playing. Didn't know that until recently.

The Ronnie he is referring to sings on the song. Ronnie Spector of the group The Ronettes.

Searched for Eddie Money playing the sax and found this video of him playing and singing with his kids (no judgments)...

    Ditto.

I was talking to a friend just last night about seeing bands and artists we'd never seen before and he mentioned he'd just seen Eddie last year. RIP

I’m saddened to hear of his passing! :(

Loved his music, especially “Take me home tonight”! I also think he had a great stage name, Eddie Money” is priceless!!

He’s the best part of the documentary Levittown (or something like that) - the nation’s first suburb.

Ronnie Spector, of The Ronettes was the one who sings the "Be my little baby" in "Take me Home Tonight."

What about the part where Ronnie Spector sings "feeeeeed my little baaaabyyyyy"? I always thought it was odd she would interject that plea in the song. Made me so sad, I wanted to donate to a cause.

    (yes... I know)
