I mean it’s laughable, but I’m really disappointed. Probably a little too much for just the first game of the season.

Team actually looked a little better prepared than I expected.

No team is more successful at ruining my week than the Texans.

If they were further back it definitely matters. The approach is different

No, just no. The Saints were looking for a quick 7-10 yard completion to get into fg range and a proffesional NFL coaching staff decided to play prevent defense for the long ball. There was no guessing here. That was absolutely 100% what the Saints were going to do. A child would know not to play prevent defense.

    50 sec left no timeouts

"they're not going to have enough time to score a td"

    Score too early

    Typical cursed Texans.

Yes. We thought of this. The guys getting paid millions - too complex for them.

Remember this is the same coaching staff that managed to call a timeout, then lose a second timeout without any play happening.

No matter how great the opposing team/QB, at some point we can't keep accepting these games where the Texans lose miraculously due in large part to terrible coaching decisions.

That was the first half. Timeouts don’t carry over.

    Romeo lost this game.

Yeah the defense fell apart in the second half. That was the game.

It's not even that. They were absolutely looking for a 7-10 ten yard dink to get into fg range. No way they would risk throwing it deep and the game clock when they just needed 3 pts.

Why can’t we just lose 30 - 0 then have this heartbreak

Well they only have themselves to blame. Trading away Clowney for peanuts and letting honey badger walk in FA

It's braindead stupid. Someone with rookie level football knowledge understands how dumb that is.

The only guess I have is that they were hoping the Saints actually be dumber and try to run a 7 yard catch into a TD or something.

The Astros have hit like 20 homeruns between last night and tonight. Watch them for the happiness. Watch the Texans for pure comedy gold.

I feel sorry for Watson. At some point this man is going to give up competing and putting his body out in the line. What does he get for it? A bunch of hits and coaches losing the game for him. He's too loyal to request a trade.
