    Remember Devo was just like Pressley once who was that knockdown set up man that you could always rely on. Pressley seems to be going to Devo route also.

    We have been spoiled by good pitching. This road trip is a cold splash of water. Nobody in the bullpen has pitched well in a while now. It's disconcerting.

    The bully has sucked and the starters haven't been much better.

    We'll bounce back, but NYY and Dodgers can't lose.


    ETA- checks scores and sees NYY lost... at least there's that.

    We really didn’t need this game... if we did, Hinch wouldn’t have gone to Devo in the 8th.

    We trotted out Sanchez, Rondon and Devo..... that is scrapping the bottom of the barrel for us.

    A couple of these recent games we could have won but rested our top arms. I just don’t think Hinch feels they are must wins. If he did, Devo isn’t pitching the 8th.
