    The real bummer at this deadline is that the Mariners are guaranteed to have a dominant pen now. The Nats can't trade for pen help at the deadline without giving up a better player in the process.

    They have to have the paperwork by 3 pm....... there have been a few times that teams have been given a little time if the principle of the deal is in on time.

    He's sucked this year but he has quite a lot of upside. He put up nearly 3 WAR last season on only 250 PA.
