    That lineup could realistically have 8 guys hitting .300 if Bregman has a hot week. But he draws so many walks, who cares about his avg??

    It's why I have gone back to believing RBI stats matter. Makes me appreciate Bagwell and Berkman even more. Bagwell had 8 seasons and Berkman had 6 with 100 RBIs or more. Bregman, Altuve, Correa, Brantley, Springer, Gurriel, and Reddick have a combined ONE season of 100 RBIs or more and that was Bregman last year.

    LOL. When did you stop believing in RBI stats ?

    Bagwell and Berkman's OPS were much higher than every current Astro besides Yordan. Alvarez is playing at a 200-RBI pace. OPS and RBIs have always mirrored well within one's stat line.

    Bregman needs to go 26-28 in a hot week in order to get over .300. He could have 3 straight hot weeks of going 12-24 (I think we would all agree that hitting .500 for a week is considered hot) and still not be at .300.

    It’s not a “gift”. Correa has earned his spot in the lineup wherever it may be. When he’s healthy, he produces.

    I get that and you're right. Just remembering back to last year when he came back and was terrible, Hinch eventually moved him back in the lineup. He has hit a grand slam but was that his only base hit in the series?

    He was clearly still hurt last year. We’ll see about this injury but we’ll have to just trust he’s fine.
