    honestly i would have rather picked up Stroman over Ray. I think it's more likely the Astros could bump up Stroman's K% than address Ray's issues with walks and homeruns.

    I think the bigger issue with Tucker is that he inexplicably took a step back so far this season for no apparent reason (making a mechanical adjustment? idk). He's young enough for it not to tank his stock but if he doesn't rebound next season then he could really drop.

    He is a controllable bat that can play outfield and 1st base.... the positions Kyle Tucker has played/been working on.

    If they can get a good starter with multiple years AND another good player (a rental SP or a late inning reliever with multiple years) then it would be worth parting with Tucker.
