An underrated pickup I feel like he will be a solid contributor off the bench for us

At a wayyyyyyyyyy cheaper cost. N with james harden were u really gonna handle the ball. Dont get me wrong russ u would..u know he better then Jimmy n a mvp.

But for jimmy on the rockets, he would give u bout the same maybe 4 points better but at a max contract lol

May trade EGo for Covington, maybe.

Depends on how many picks attached.

Ding ding ding. That's the guy I trade him for. A young 3 n d player. That's longer. N like him borderline all star. Cov is the guy I dont even hesitate with. He would put us over the top.

Could Anthony Bennett's 6'8 254 lbs body, uber athleticism, and super improved 3 point shooting (.453% on 4.7 attempts) be what we wanted out of Faried but couldnt get? He can play the 3-5 and is a better rim runner and put back threat than capela. Confidence could come from being on the otherend of lobs from Harden & Westbrook and wide open shots like Faried took last yr have a better chance of falling with a 45% catch and shoot player

He won't make the team. Dude is garbage. Nothing surprise me any more here. Last season people were pumping up MCW on here. I don't understand Morey lately. He was very good at finding players at the end of the bench in the past. We need a twiner PF/SF not a Ben McLemore. Take a flier on a good defender, rebounder PF in the G league who can't shoot and I am happier than signing this scrub.

Go on Basketball Reference for stats. He is a 20 ppg caliber player who guards the other team's best player typically and despite all this, he has better advance defensive stats across the board.

McLemore can defend? Since when? Maybe in college, but at the NBA level, don't know about that. He can shoot, but low IQ, poor handles, only athletic vertically, but not specifically quick laterally, can't create shots, not a passer. There's a reason he's fallen out in the NBA.

Rockets are going to look to try and teach him on defense which would really increase his value.

That is a very optimistic view.

But hey, I guess its possible.

Just giving Plowman credit for predicting fireworks right before Westbrook trade when 90% of the board was crying Morey did nothing in the off season.

He needs to lose another 10 lbs at the least. I will give him credit for getting in better shape.

Is Jimmy Butler even that much better than Eric Gordon? Seriously?

Considering our guard depth, we may need to give Gordon up to get someone like Iggy/Covington. Don’t confuse me wanting to replace McLemore for Gordon for the hell of it.

Plus, Gordon is good and on a good contract but let’s not get carried away here.
