Yeah, get Tilman back involved. Leave it up to Morey, he's gonna sign scrubs like Deyonta Davis, Michael Carter-Williams, Carmelo Anthony, James Ennis, Anthony Bennett
Dude is still pretty young, while it's always unlikely a guy/player can suddenly turn around his career after some years, you never know, if the deal is non guaranteed what's not to like? I'm all for taking this kind of opportunities, definitely better to give a chance to a guy like Bennett than waste a slot for a guy like Bobby Brown.
Love it. Low risk, high potential reward. I was just saying they should find a way to get Marvin Williams and Bennett's potential is exactly that. Really optimistic about this signing
sorry how long has he been out of the league or g league have not kept watch i seen some highlights in college and some nba but not to much anybody tell me something on this guy not seen since the cavs
Looking at his career stats---where he's shot at a percentage that Westbrook would find awful---he must have REALLY worked on his shot. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Bennett_(basketball) Or it's due to microscopic sample size. Biggest non-drug caused bust in Draft history? (Otherwise the answer is Len Bias.)
Dude is 6'8, and can be versatile in the right role late in the rotation. On a NGT'd contract, I can dig it. This year's Caboclo project.
You never know... I mean, yeah, you probably know. Almost certainly. A bust is a bust is a bust. But... Whiteside. So you never really know until you know. Worth a non-guaranteed shot.
Good on this guy for never giving up though, that's a good mentality to have. Hopefully he grabs this opportunity he has, only 26 so it would be a great story if he turned it around and became a productive player.
