I'm not disappointed with that. He didn't mesh with Payne and Meltzer. They're much better as a duo.

I didn't even know there were three guys. Just Seth Payne and the nasal sounding guy

 

Exactly. It was a pointless move when they made it. Would've been better in the afternoon on the "Triple Threat" which only has 2 guys.

 

Not sure he can fit anywhere as a 3rd guy. He has a dominant personality. He's confrontational. He thinks his opinion is the most important one in the room. Hard to be a 3rd guy and have those traits.

 

I still think Lance and Granato are the best morning show easily.

 

He was a wallflower on that show. Hate to see someone unemployed put perhaps this turns out to be beneficial as he gets a chance to get more mic time

 

Please fire Greg Koch and Nd. Replace with gallant.

 

Yeah, I'd trust some guy who comes on and says "well, when I was playing in private school varsity football...." VS "well, in our years spent playing football in the NFL...."

 

Yes. I'd keep 790 on if it weren't for that show. It's just so insanely bad.

 

How in the world is John Lopez still a radio host? He’s opinions are consistently terrible, his voice sucks, and he’s a bit arrogant. Throw him out and stick Gallant in there.

 

I know we’re a football town but listening to them talk Rockets/Astros is downright terrible. Like reading box scores and articles word for word terrible.

 

Yup his voice is terrible and he’s a one upper. Not sure how many times I’ve heard his story on transferring to A&M from Blinn. Seems like he throws it in every week some how.

 

That would be the effects of making a living, in the trenches, only on ST790!

 

I don't listen to them since they are on when I work, but if they do that is still more than 610. According to 610 the rockets don't exists and they maybe spend 5 minutes on the astros otherwise its all football all the time even during the off-season. They spend more time on back up oline than the rockets.

 

What? Lopez went to A&M? Who woulda known.

Next you're going to blow my mind and tell me he's a Spurs fan. Or that he likes fishing. Or that he thinks he's a ladies man.

 

Ya 610 is super Texans heavy. Triple Threat in the afternoon does a decent job mixing it up IMO. Them and Matt Thomas are the 2 best shows.
