I like his slider, and his curve is usually good too. Also LOVE that he's a local kid (I know, most don't care). Still, just send him back to AAA. Trade for a #2/3 starter with more than a year of control sometime this month.

Martin sucks. He'll probably be sent back down to the minors after tonight.

The cupboard seems pretty bare at the moment.

Yep. He's got the fastball to work off of, he has solid action on his breaking stuff, he just can't hit the ****ing catcher with it yet.

Remember he's just a baby and really shouldn't be up here at all yet outside of desperation by the rotation.

They should go with Framber.. I thought he was pretty solid for us last year starting.

Is he on a strict pitch count? Hes thrown 75 through only 3 innings.

Corbin definitely isn’t ready to be a starting pitcher just because he had a good first game.

I was a bit worried for much of the time he was on the mound due to command. Remember all the HBP and BB? Though it seemed he always got out of jams. I want to see Rodgers get the spot, despite a bad year at AAA last year and me openly wanted him DFA'd, he's done great this year at AAA. Hope we see him pitch well tonight, I wish him luck. Actually I've grown to like him after reading his story.

Musgrove threw hard when he was is the pen, but as a starter he just pounded the strikezone with mediocre pitches. I don't see the comparison at all. eta: Musgrove didn't throw ENOUGH balls, is what I'm saying

He could get up to 94-95.

Alot like Martin. Sometimes Martin can hit 97.
