This series will be closer than people think, Bucks are deep and Raptors swarmed them and put the clamps on. Their 3pt defense needs to be on point though and an important part will be the big men for Toronto: will Gasol and Ibaka take advantage of their size and experience over Bogut, Looney and their small ball? Nick Nurse has to mix it up with Green, cannot keep starting him if he's not contributing. In the end, I think Lowry and VanVleet can make it tough on Curry and the key will be stopping him and Klay. The Klaw and Lowry can challenge them enough on defense to win. I'd say Klaw is easily the best player and they cannot contain him so Raptors in 7.

 

There is no way Canada is beating USA in the finals.

This is NBA finals, not log rolling competition.

I stand with my fellow Americans in Oakland who fight to keep the Larry O'Brain trophy where it belongs.

 

When it suits you it's an American competition / award, but last time I checked you call yourselves NBA WORLD CHAMPIONS.

 

It is a NBA World Championship competition, which is why Canada is allowed to participate, but the trophy belongs in America, which is where it is going to stay.

Canadians are not worthy to hold such a prestigious trophy and must be stopped.

I think warriors knew from the day 1 durant will never play in these years playoffs and they just played mindgames to keep the opponents on their heels...this was also useful to durant because he will be able to sign multiyear max deal easier now that gravity of his injury is downplayed...

 

nothing the rockets haven't endured already the past 2 seasons. everyone should already expect an uphill battle with the refs when going against oakland.

 

Kudos to the Raptors, didn't expect them to win and certainly didn't give them a chance to win 4 games in a row. But i think the Bucks could've matchup better with the Warriors and i still say 4-1 Golden State, even though i hope the Raptors win.

 

GS are overrated because blazers are poor defensive team.

The Raptors have home court, the best player, they beat GS twice this year, and they just steamrolled the best regular season team. They smoked them in Oakland when both teams were healthy. I know GS has been winning at a higher rate without Durant but I don’t see how they pull it off without him against Kawhi’s Raptors. Kawhi is god mode in the playoffs and Kawhi certainly isn’t afraid of the Warriors.

It is called National Basketball Association for a reason.....national was always meant to be the whole of North America as I understand it.

NHL got tons of Canadian teams, Canadians are good at hockey.

Americans were better at basketball, baseball and football.
