After which he'll drag himself thousands of miles (in four days) back to Winterfell. Arya: "I signed a petition about this show. I want this last season re-done." Sandor: (sighs) "You signed a petition." Arya: (defensive) "Lots of people sign petitions." Sandor: "Lots of c***s."
Here's my guess, which is a total guess because I don't try to find spoilers or really read anything at all about GOT aside from this thread. Arya assassinates Grey Worm, John slays the dragon, executes Dany, and disbands the Iron Throne so that the seven kingdoms are separate. Trumpers celebrate the victory against globalist elites.
How long does it take to sign the petition? Must be very long to sign it if it means they have no life.
It's a joke. Don't take it so hard. But: did they watch season 7? Do they think anyone is going to spend all this money to remake a season?
Public outcry got Sonic redone so we’ll see. No one is going to give a damn about these prequels if this show ends this way.
I think it's just a method to show frustration. I would say 95% of those who signed the petition have no hope of a genuine rewrite. I think the frustration is well earned. Mainly from the fact that HBO offered more time and D&D decided a trunkated final two seasons would allow for enough time to incorporate the excellent writing that the previous seasons had. It was a stupid decision and D&D should understand that it was a very stupid decision. I feel most sorry for the actors. They had no say but performed admirably with what they had to work with which was a pile of turd.
The actors would have to agree to it. If one of the major actors says "no" it falls apart. You ain't going to recast Jon Snow or Cersei at this point. That would be an even worse decision. It's too time consuming and will cost too much money for HBO to see any merit in a reshoot.
I hear your earlier points, but I still assume the actors (behind the scenes) were a big reason we got "only" two more seasons. That's quite a grind through some prime years of many careers. I don't think it's probably accurate to just blame those two dudes. But we'll never know for sure.
People are only now complaining about the writing because it doesn't fit their feminist Mary Sue requirements. The writing has been utter **** since season 5.
In the photo, Jaime, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, is seen hugging his sister/lover Cersei (Lena Headey) in an emotional scene that came at the end of Episode 5 of the show’s eighth and final season. Jaime’s right hand is clearly seen wrapped around Cersei’s back as he embraces her. In the actual show, however, Jaime’s golden replacement hand appears, consistent with all episodes following the one in which he lost his real one.
Arya is dead. No way her and a white horse survived. At least, that's another "prediction" going around the SplinterNet.
