Wow! I’m incredibly impressed that anyone here has seen it, FB. I’ll check out Never Say Goodbye. Hopefully, it’s playing on TCM, at least sometime in the future. I’ll check Netflix, Amazon Prime, and I think my significant other got access to Hulu somehow, but I’ll be surprised if one of them has it. Thanks for the heads-up.

My one complaint is your reckless statement that you’re “one of the biggest Flynn fans there is.” You ain’t bigger than me! ;-)

there's a few movies in this thread that don't seem to warrant the label "great" lol :D

It is a Christmas movie so it frequently plays on TCM near the holidays. Sometimes you can find it other times.

Since you are a Flynn fan, I have to ask have you read 'My Wicked Wicked Ways'? I know that there are plenty of things that are embellished in the book, but it is fascinating and the most exciting part is all the crazy stuff he did before he came to Hollywood. You might also try and see if you can get ahold of the David Niven books, Moons a Balloon, and Bring on the Empty Horses. They both have parts about Errol Flynn. If I remember correctly, at one point they were roommates. Crazy stuff. Niven talks about how Flynn was instrumental in getting some of the animal protection regulations that are still part of the movie industry today. I won't spoiler anything else in case you have a desire to read them and are able to find them.

I’ve read ‘My Wicked, Wicked Ways,’ but not the David Niven books. My late mother loved reads like these and she likely did (I bought her ‘Wicked Ways’). I’ll have to pick them up. Another good read written by a famous Hollywood actor, Kirk Douglas, (some were remarkably good at writing about their life before Hollywood, their early career, and the rest of it) is ‘The Ragman’s Son.’ It’s pretty wild! Several of the most well known actors from the Golden Age wrote about it, and Kirk is very open about his liaisons with various actresses. A great read.

Juicy Licks Volume 3 is good according to my wife. I’ve never seen it but she liked it enough to comment on it.

I was thinking old school when I started this, but this movie is worth viewing.

lol, no. This movie was like everywhere when it came out, spawned a number one single for Dolly, and can still be seen on tv from time to time. So, I would think that it is definitely remembered compared to some of the other picks in this thread.

There's actually a biopic about Flynn before Holywood that was recently released.

Not sure if it is any good or not.

I was surprised I made it all the way through Mrs. Doubtfire again. The funny wasn't so funny, but it was for some odd reason still compelling enough to watch with the family over the holiday.

Holy cow. I will have to check it out. I always have low expectations for these things, but it could be good. Thanks for the heads up.
