1. Play with the same intensity like we did in game 3 2. Rebound like in game 3 3. Stop running the shot clock all the down 4. More ball movement If the Rockets do these the series will be tied at 2-2
Rebounding needs to continue, less Paul isolation plays which is a disaster as shown by the last few minutes, more Gordon ball as he is now our second best player with Paul’s decline and Rivers and shumpert need to continue being good
Posted in game thread... 1.) Gobble up rebounds like a man that hasn’t eaten in a month. 2.) Communicate and execute on switches and defense 3.) Limit turnovers to 10 max. This should be our strength as an ISO team and their Achilles Heel. 4.) Hit open shots and be aggressive driving to paint. 5.) Force Curry to be on an Island. Not doing well on this, as the ball handler needs to force it by moving towards Curry. Either way Curry is getting tired from running around, just not effiecient w/o Curry island. 6.) MDA call quick timeouts on stopping momentum changes to GSW.
1.) Fair officiating 2.) Everyone wears goggles 3.) Follow Tucker’s intensity 4.) Let Paul have more control on offense 5.) Play Green/Shumpert to a minimum 6.) Make Harden dribble 12sec or less 7.) ***KEY*** Kick Donkey in da balls!!!! Go Rockets !!! ....... ....... .......
Capela is the key to the game, he is the only other dude besides KD on both sides over 6'8 getting PT he needs to get rebs and get blocks and dominate inside. If he cant do that over Donkey who is like 6 inches shorter, Bogut who is about to retire and Kevon Looney who is a vet min scrub then why the hell is he getting paid all that money every year? Thankfully it might all just be sickness, Capela's play has improved from G1 to G3. Hopefully that trend continues otherwise Rox are not gonna win, can't depend on EG playing like a superstar every game.
On that last one , I wish Mike , Dan or Tony would send someone , maybe Faried or House out there to goad Green into a fight …. get him tossed from the game and suspended multiple games after.
1. Stop running the shot clock down to run plays or make your move. 2. Capella needs to stop playing like a scary ass B. 3. Outrebound them 4. Stop letting them get free on those stunts for easy dunks. 5. Just keep an eye on iggy...if he doesnt have a rare game again, Rockets win going away. 2-2 Going back to Oakland.
Be aggressive on offense (attack the basket), fight for rebounds and loose balls, and be smart with use of timeouts (don’t wait too long if GS gets some momentum) and player substitutions/in-game lineup adjustments.
Rumor is Nene is retiring, he could go into the sunset as a Rockets Legend if he roundhouse kicked him in the head! Spoiler: Please Nene.... Go Rockets !!! ....... ....... .......
1. On offense, stop trying to draw fouls* 2. Use stats to figure out who defends Durant best, and leave him on him 3. Make our open shots 4. Don't rely so much on Harden for offense. Run more scoring plays (not iso's) through Gordon, CP3, and Capela 5. Set up PJ to take more corner 3s (and he needs to make them) * I can't count the number of times that our offense has imtentionally thrown uo a shot where the shooter was clearly not trying to making the bucket; followed by our shooter falling to the ground, hoping to get a call. When the call DOESN'T come, the player stays on the floor while GS runs a fast break and four of our players are defending five. STOP TRYING TO DRAW A FOUL; WE"RE NOT GETTING THE CALLS. If you miss a shot and don't get the call, DON'T SIT ON THE FLOOR AND POUT; GET UP, RUN DOWN THE COURT, AND HELP YOUR TEAM!
Huuuge game. A win will prove that the ref job in game one really stings. A loss will prove that game 3 was a fluke.
You forgot about playing bench more so our starters are more rested than theirs. Curry couldn't even dunk at the end of that game so why not wear them out even more? Just kidding, a barely able to run starter is better than our bench I guess.
Get Gordon going....like poster said, he is your 2nd best player now. Attack them.before they set up, which again is Gordon who does this best. Keep playing small ball. Run them.off the 3 point line at all costs
Curry has been in a funk. We need to make sure we don't take him lightly because of it. We need to continue to smother him. We can't let him break out of that funk. Smother him and limit how big of a factor he is in the game. Keep being aggressive on offense, especially when Curry is trying to guard either Harden, CP3, or Rivers on the perimeter. Same of Gordon to a slightly lesser degree. We will score, get Curry in foul trouble, tire him out, or some combination of all of these. Box out and make sure we don't give up offensive rebounds.
Players: Whether you’re up 10 or down 10 play like you’re down 20. Absolutely cannot relax with a lead. Fans: Whether you’re up 10 or down 10 cheer like you’re 1 missed free throw away from free tacos.
