If I remember correctly, it's the double-big lineups that kill us. So I just pray they don't put Bogut and Looney on the court at the same time.
The problem is compounded because no one else on their roster can effectively protect the rim when Capela is switch to the perimeter, this year the Rockets don’t have enough wings who know how to play big.
This.... no...but we are going to have to switch alot....and fight thru screens....and make sure the nba and the refs know about the moving screens.
You all can mock him, but I appreciate ‘holic making a jinx thread. Never felt as confident as I do now that we have one of his “I want to set up an ‘I told you so’ but I also want plausible deniability” threads.
I'm gonna count the classic '''greene to Iggy alley oop" plays this series. Also I'm gonna count the classic "Greene to bogut alley opp" plays this series. I'm willing to bet that you cant count the number of times Durant scores off of a down screen curl move this series against Houston.
Well I believe it was Chauncy Billups that called PJ Tucker the new Bruce Bowen, so if thats true then RIP Warriors.
Going to get in front of them and contests shots, try to force turnovers, and limit offensive rebounds.
Asked and answered! BigBum's English lessons pay off just in time for a grammatically correct answer! Aren't burners awesome?
I kinda hate how you call the Rockets "we" when you're clearly rooting against them to prove that you were right that we should have traded Capela for scraps. You're not a Rockets fan... you're a fan of yourself.
I think you should provide your expert analysis first - before tomorrow, so we can grade how accurate it is (or inaccurate).
Switch.... switch.... switch. Going to force turnovers... try to win the free throw battle and take a sizeable amount more threes than them. Chris Paul has done a solid job on Durant in the past so the Rockets have less negative consequences on switches than people think. My concern is that we don’t have the length to counter Durant as well as we did last year. If Durant has a big series, the Warriors win the series... if he doesn’t the Rockets should have a very good chance. The Warriors without Cousins have less ability to really exploit the Rockets defense. There may be a new wrinkle here or there but both teams and coaching staffs know what to expect.
Holic, the galactic waste of space. You post this crap knowing full well people will ridicule you and tell you to go away. Yet for some sad pathetic reason, you still need it.
That's pretty much it. On some occasions you can mix-in a couple of wrinkles, just for variety, to be less predictable: 1. Have Austin/CP3/EG to fight over the pick on some occasions. 2. Trap Curry, BUT don't rotate to Draymond. Make him make the play himself.
