Jason Terry says Harden is "one of the greatest scoring guards in our league." Can he just be the greatest scorer? After averaging enough points to have the biggest PPG gap from the 2nd highest scorer in 50 years, Harden is only in the conversation if we're talking about guards? Come on Jet

Yeah “one of the” anything is just an insult at this point. Harden is a transcendent player of this generation and coming for Kobe’s spot as the #2 all time SG. You look at what he’s done to his game since his first year as a Rocket and it’s mind-numbing. Dude has been shat on and shat on each and every season no matter the outcome, and he just absorbs all that criticism and adds another element to his game by the start of the next one. Back half of his career we will see post moves just like those Jordan and Kobe used to take. I’m not even worried about his legacy anymore. He’s in the “taking names” phase of his career. Recognize, respect, or get out the way you lazy soon to be unemployed former player aspiring TV pundits.

I HATE the qualifiers they put on Harden. "Where does he rank among 2 guards in the game today?" "Is he one of the best offensive players in the league?" These are all so dismissive of what he has become.

The question about Harden should be whether he is the best player in the NBA. Full stop. You want to argue about Durant, Lebron, Harden, Steph? Fine. But this comparing him to Klay as a 2 guard or other guys at "2 way players" maybe being better? Needs to stop now.
